Introducing Hunter C. Signature Series Models.
All models have been test in water of Kauai, Hawaii.
Building lures over the years I have come to a conclusion that if I am crafting lures of such beauty I would like it to last a life time for each an every angler and for you to get full benefit out of them.
That is why I have decided to R&D different materials leading me onto resin cast lures and mold making. Building up my mold library creating variety of custom lures that are designed for GT and Tuna fishing.
Lure building is time consuming no matter what method you choose to create them in.
Modified Process
All lures are handcrafted from start to finish, just in a new process...
A few changes have been made to the Hunter C. Process.
Still traditionally shaped from wood being balanced, hand shaped and tested to swim in a well proven swim pattern before the molding stage.
Once lure is up to Hunter C. Standards it is then molded in silicone rubber preserving the custom shape.
Each lure is then poured individually with premium casting resin creating the solid core of the lure.
Solid cores will assure a more durable lure then wood core lures againts our rough fishing terrain. This also benefits lures by never getting water logged when the top epoxy gets beat up from toothy critters. As well, having the same action in lures without it getting heavier and dulling the swim pattern.
An internal weight system is added along with stainless steel wire molded into the bodies.
All lures are then airbrush painted, detailed and varies other modifications are added finsihing off with several layers epoxy. Individually made into beautiful creations.
